Novotel Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport - Family & Business trip hotel - Mangrove Planting

Mangrove Planting

Novotel Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel organized the “Mangrove Planting” activity at Bang Pu Nature Education Centre

In an auspicious celebration of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua of Thailand’s 72nd birthday anniversary and sixth-cycle birthday on 28th July 2024. Novotel Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport organized a mangrove planting activity at Bang Pu Nature Education Centre, where they enjoyed the cool breeze and atmosphere of the mangrove forest, on 26 July 2024.

In a commitment to environmental conservation and restoration, Novotel Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport’s General Manager, Christophe Geoffroy, led employees in a mangrove planting initiative. Together, we planted 720 trees at Bang Pu Nature Education Centre, significantly contributing to sustainable green spaces.

This activity aligns with Novotel’s partnership with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), which has invested over $1 billion in more than 12,000 conservation initiatives since 1995.

The activity brought our team closer while highlighting our hotel’s environmental commitment. We’re proud to be the first airport hotel in Southeast Asia to receive the Green Key Certificate.
